Responding to growing calls from within the global diamond industry, the IDEX Diamond Price Report is an analysis of asking prices for higher-quality diamonds in the international wholesale markets.
The report is based on price changes as reflected by the global trade on IDEX's trading platform at www.idexonline.com.
Mr. Cohen commented, "What is perfect about our price report is that it takes hundreds of thousands of data points from thousands of industry players, and applies standard statistical tools to generate the report. It is driven solely by objective and consistent methodologies."
Mr. Cohen added, "Objectivity and transparency in the diamond industry has always been one of IDEX's core values. It is high time the industry receives a price tool that reflects the market objectively. We look forward to continuing to answer our customers' needs."
The IDEX Diamond Price Report includes rounds and fancy cuts, ranging in sizes from 0.18 carats to 5.99 carats.
The Report is available only to diamond-industry professionals at www.idexonline.com/prices and will be inside IDEX Magazine starting with the November issue.
