Trata-se de uma iniciativa sueca, com estética minimalista, da autoria de dois criativos conhecidos - Eric Giroud e Adrian Glessing. Com calibres de quartzo, têm caixas de aço. A iniciativa da nova marca é do empresário Ali Nouri, seu fundador e CEO. No site da Carl Edmond, a contagem decrescente até à abertura da Baselworld 2017.

Why Carl Edmond? – On vacation in the Seychelles I met Edmond, a new friend made by the poolside, with the most exuberant and friendly personality, the type of guy everyone likes. Soon Edmond was like family, and we are close friends to this day. When I started this journey, I thought of Edmond and wanted to include his joyful spirit in it. Adding Carl, a name that truly represents Sweden, resulted in Carl Edmond, the perfect combination of a joyful spirit and Swedish heritage, says company founder Ali Nouri.
