Se Baselworld também for cancelado, relógios Louis Moinet receberão "em casa"

Se a feira de relojoaria de Basileia, a Baselworld, for, como se prevê, cancelada, devido à crise do coronavírus, a marca Louis Moinet, que tem estado presente no evento nos últimos dez anos, anunciou hoje que receberá na sua manufactura clientes, jornalistas e público em geral a partir de 30 de Maio, data prevista para a abertura da Baselworld.

O cancelamento dos eventos relojoeiros internacionais - Watches & Wonders, de Genebra, anunciou hoje o cancelamento - coloca numa posição muito difícil as pequenas marcas independentes, que contam com estes eventos anuais para fazer a quase totalidade do seu negócio, contactando o retalho e clientes finais e recebendo encomendas.

O comunicado da Louis Mpoinet:

Today, the Geneva-based exhibition Watches & Wonders has announced the cancellation of its 2020 edition for fear of the worldwide spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Baselworld will shortly announce the situation on their side, a show Louis Moinet has been present for, for over a decade.

Should the decision be taken that Baselworld 2020 is also cancelled, Louis Moinet is announcing a new and modern platform: DISCOVERY DAYS.

The main values of Louis Moinet are the creativity of its products and the personal relationship with the watch community, namely watch lovers, collectors, retailers or media representatives and bloggers.

Therefore, during the period initially planned for Baselworld (30th April – 5th May 2020), Louis Moinet will welcome the world at its Saint-Blaise headquarters, in Switzerland. During this period, DISCOVERY DAYS will be held at the “Imagination Room”, which will be transformed into a virtual showroom. This will enable each visitor to discover the unique world of Louis Moinet and its latest creations through a sophisticated set of cameras.

There will be various possible accesses to DISCOVERY DAYS:

A – General public

Anyone will be able to log-on and view the presentation of the latest creations as well as a proposal to dive into Louis Moinet’s unique heritage and contemporary patrimony;

B – Media World

Online press-conferences dedicated to accredited media members (with photos and videos to be downloaded with just a simple click);

C – Retailers / Clients

One-on-one meetings – discovering what is behind Louis Moinet and its deep roots in watchmaking, as well as the exclusive presentation of the latest creations.

We believe that this is a convenient solution to continue positive discussions with the world in its current situation. Of course, and as always, Louis Moinet is welcoming today’s and tomorrow’s partners in person in Saint-Blaise.
