Lido no Fédération Horlgère:
Stephan Lack (aged 48), Chairman of the Board of Directors and majority shareholder of Altus Uhren Holding, will take over the helm of Glycine Watch as CEO on 1st June. This Bern economist, a specialist in marketing, is well versed in the watchmaking sector having lived for nearly ten years in Asia, where he successfully developed the distribution of famous Swiss watches in China, South East Asia and Japan.
"Glycine is an authentic, quality brand with lots of expertise and is supported by a large community of collectors and fans," pointed out Stephan Lack. "We are counting on continuity in development of the market and can see huge potential in the targeted growth of international distribution."
For the past twenty years, Katherina Brechbühler has left her mark on Glycine with universally recognisable designs, in collaboration with her father Hans, who died last summer. At the request of the new management she is staying on at Glycine, in the field of design in particular. “I’m happy to have found in Stephan Lack and Altus Uhren Holding an independent Swiss successor who will consolidate the development of Glycine,” underlined Katherina Brechbühler.
