O comunicado:

On 5th November 2011 on the Mugello Circuit, Jean-Claude Biver, then CEO of Hublot, and Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Chairman of Ferrari S.p.A at the time, announced the signature of a watchmaking partnership between the Nyon Manufacture and the famous Italian manufacturer with its Prancing Horse. During the nine years that have since passed, a 360° relationship has developed between the two houses, leaving no possibility unexplored.

For Ferrari and Scuderia Ferrari, Hublot took on the roles of Official Timekeeper, Official Watch and Official Timekeeper of the Ferrari Challenge Championship, whose special events it also partnered. During these nine seasons, the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team saw the drivers Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and Charles Leclerc in its Hublot-branded single-seaters.

Above all, this period set the stage for an unprecedented technological exchange between the watchmakers, engineers and designers at Hublot and Ferrari. This emulation gave life to a whole series of particularly innovative and spectacular watches. Among these many achievements, we could cite the original Big Bang Ferrari that appeared in 2012, the first fruit of this collaboration. In 2013, it was the turn of the revolutionary MP05 LaFerrari, with its 50- day power reserve – a world record – paying tribute to the eponymous supercar, followed in 2017 by the Techframe, created under the leadership of Flavio Manzoni, Head of Design for the Italian brand. And how can we fail to mention the Classic Fusion Ferrari GT, which inaugurated the Unico movement into the Classic Fusion collection in 2019?

This one-of-a-kind partnership between Hublot and Ferrari proved to be an endless source of commercial, technical and sporting successes. This performance was achieved thanks to the involvement and unswerving dedication of the employees and friends of the two prestigious houses, to whom Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, wanted to send an emotionally charged message of thanks. Grazie a tutti!

It was impossible for us to imagine the incredible path that Hublot and Ferrari were to travel together. Nine years of close and strong collaboration, during which, together, we reached new heights, beat world records in watchmaking and established new standards for the industry. The success of our partnership remains unequalled by other players in the watchmaking or automotive sectors. This exploit was achieved thanks to the passion of the extraordinary personalities who wrote the story of this great human adventure. While it is hard to mention everyone involved, I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart, in no particular order:
