Covid 19 - Exposição Homo Faber: Living Treasures of Europe and Japan adiada para 2021

A segunda edição de Homo Faber: Living Treasures of Europe and Japan foi adiada para 2021, em data a anunciar.

O comunicado da Michelangelo Foundation:

We hope that you are all keeping well and safe in these challenging times. It is at times like these that we are reminded of the importance of placing humankind first. In light of this, to ensure the health and safety of you all, our cherished crafts community, we have taken the decision to postpone the second edition of Homo Faber: Living Treasures of Europe and Japan to 2021. We are working on a new date for the second edition of Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future which we will confirm in the coming weeks.

As we all live through this unsettling situation together, it is a moment above all to care for each other, to show humanity, resilience, courage and kindness. We share our solidarity with our whole community during these heartbreaking circumstances. As we slow down and adjust, we look for the silver linings to keep our faith on a brighter future.

Let us continue to be united and inspired by the everyday passion, dedication and pursuit of excellence shown by master artisans and all those who work to safeguard and promote precious human skills.

The myriad forms of beauty to be discovered in each human gesture, in the human touch, and in the human’s power to create and adapt in the face of difficulty should be a source of hope to us all.

In the coming weeks, we plan to launch and find digital initiatives which we hope will bring some light relief, be uplifting and enjoyable. We would also welcome any of your creative ideas and your creative input.

We look forward to continuing our journey together towards crafting a more human future.
