O comunicado:

As Baselworld gears up for the grand opening of the most important watch and jewellery show in the world on March 27, so also are all the leading brands and international diamond merchants giving their precious products a final shine before putting them on show.

Mr Raj Mehta, CEO of Rosy Blue, one of the leading diamond merchants in the world, says “Baselworld is the perfect platform to represent Rosy Blue's new products, and also to understand new trends of the industry. Due to its immense audience, its way of allocating exhibitors, it attracts the best players of the industry. It complements what Rosy Blue manufactures." Baselworld is also the place where exhibitors achieve a large percentage of their annual turnover, and in the words of Mr Oz Masiah of Novel Collection, a leading international colour diamond speciality company, "Baselworld is one of the most important shows in the world especially for the diamond industry. All the big dealers in the diamond industry participate in this show and the biggest customers visit and show a lot of interest in our goods."

Baselworld is the world’s most important event for watches and jewellery. Some 100,000 buyers from across the globe flock to Basel each year to experience this splendid show and do business. This is the annual event where innovations and novelties make their first public appearances, trends are set, and extensive business is done. It is also an unmatched major media magnet, drawing over 3500 international journalists. Baselworld is the ultimate meeting place for the industry in its entirety, with all sectors being represented here: watchmaking, jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and pearls, and supply industries. To sum it up, Michael Gad says "Basel is extremely important to the pulse of the world, not just Europe or Asia. Therefore, Baselworld is, according to me, the most important Jewellery venue worldwide as it attracts buyers from ALL markets!"
