Antiquorum parceiro oficial do Geneva Time Exhibition

O comunicado:

Antiquorum, the world’s premier auctioneer of fine modern and vintage timepieces, is thrilled to announce its support of innovation and great craftsmanship with its partnership as an official sponsor of the GTE (Geneva Time Exhibition), Europe’s premier showcase for the art of independent watchmaking.

It will be the first time that Antiquorum is partnering with the GTE and it looks forward to helping promote the know-how, expertise and innovation of the independent Swiss watchmakers. As the only auction house listed as an official sponsor at the Fair, Antiquorum plans to support the brands further by displaying some pieces in its showroom, open to the public, at 3 rue du Mont-Blanc from the 15th January until the 11th February.

Ever since its launch in January 2010, the Geneva Time Exhibition has pursued its goal to bring together the leading independent watchmakers under one roof. It was clear from the start that the Fair fulfilled a need – in fact, it met a pressing demand: to give independent watchmakers the opportunity to raise their international profile, boost sales, and attract new clients – both professional and private.

In 2013, Geneva Time Exhibition is relocating to the heart of Geneva, to the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices. This new venue, with its superb Belle Époque architecture, offers the perfect venue for visitors and the Fair's forty high-flying exhibitors, all keen to meet and talk with watch aficionados – whether specialist professionals or savvy collectors – about the latest timepiece sensations. “We at Antiquorum are proud to support the GTE,” said Julien Schaerer, Watch Expert and Managing Director, Antiquorum Geneva. “The exhibition is an important part of the watchmaking community and upholds the values we all share – the importance of independence, creativity and the art of fine watchmaking.”

Established in Geneva in 1974, Antiquorum has carved its own unparalleled niche in the auction world through its focused expertise in horology and by cultivating a thriving collector’s market for timepieces worldwide. The world’s premier auctioneer of fine modern and vintage timepieces has set world records for auction sales and holds approximately ten auctions a year in Geneva, New York and Hong Kong, with previews held in major cities worldwide. www.antiquorum.com.
