Piaget obtém certificação do Responsible Jewellery Council

Do comunicado do RJC:

The successful verification assessment of Piaget was conducted by Michel Mooser from SGS, one of the independent third-party auditing firms accredited to the RJC’s Member Certification System. “RJC warmly congratulates Piaget on its certification. More and more Members have commenced the process towards Certification and we look forward to announcing their achievements. RJC is the first independent, third party certification system anywhere in the world that is applicable to businesses across an entire product supply chain, from the sourcing of raw materials through to retail,” says Michael Rae, RJC’s Chief Executive Officer.

“The RJC certification represents an important accomplishment for Piaget. It participates in strongly upholding the philosophy that was introduced by Piaget’s founder, George-Edouard Piaget, which is the concern for the quality of our products and our practices. The certification demonstrates the ongoing engagement of the brand in favour of ethical values and for the protection of the environment. Piaget is proud to be an active member of RJC and to participate in the promotion of responsible practices that are within our domain,” says Philippe Léopold-Metzger, CEO of Piaget.
